Dad valued Eve as a smart, capable woman. Mom knew that he would allow her the freedom she needed to be herself. They waltzed beautifully together on the dance floor and through life. When Dad lost his professor job he was forced into early retirement. Mom continued working as a computer manager, Dad helped at home, and times were rough.
