I received two challenges, so I suppose there’s no escape. I was tagged by two most excellent writers: Crispian Thurlborn wp.me/p1iPt-e2 and C W Hawes cwhawes.com/2015/07/17/lov… . The challenge is to list 10 LOVES and 10 HATES, and then tag 10 more lucky people. Actually, this is kind of fun!
Here are 10 LOVES in no particular order:
1. Dragons. Arak is one of my favorite dragons! Who are your favorites?
2. Reading a good book.
3. Scuba diving into a clear ocean, night or day. Night dives are wonderfully mysterious,
with things that go bump in the dark. Once I was bumped by something big . . .
and it was a huge grouper fish begging for food!
4. Listening to music.
5. When I finish drawing one of my fantasy snowflakes and the design really works!
6. When my dragons speak to me so clearly that a page writes itself.
7. Octopuses. These smart, amazing shape-shifters can see through their skin and match
almost anything, a living example of the James Bond car in Die Another Day. They are in
The Dragon Dreamer by J.S. Burke.
8. The amazing Greek marble sculptures at the High Museum of Art, where light shines
through the realistic rock fabric folds.
9. Magical beings: Wizards, the Hogwarts castle, faeries, Time Lords…
10. Interacting with friends, even being tagged when I should be writing something else.

2. Modern airplane travel
3. Mosquito bites
4. Tick bites
